Ned Bushnell, MS, PT

Biography:

Ned has been a Physical Therapist for over 34 years. He has owned his own outpatient Physical Therapy practice since 1985. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a Masters of Physical Therapy and has taken a hands on and interactive approach to his patient care ever since. Ned specializes in shoulder, knee, ankle, wrist, and elbow rehabilitation. He has had extensive training in the many injuries involving the extremities. He is Astym certified, which has been a great addition to treatment protocals. Ned has a great rapport with patients of all ages and works hard to maintain a practice that is friendly and focused on patient care. His greatest joy from being a Physical Therapist is helping people get the best possible results from their Physical Therapy program.

Ned has lived in Utah Valley most of his life with his wife, Marianne. He has six children and 14 grandchildren and finds great joy from being a grandpa. He enjoys being outdoors and can be found there on his days off.

Matthew Bushnell

Matthew Bushnell, DPT

Biography:

Matt has specialized in the treatment of several orthopedic, sports, geriatric and chronic pain conditions.  He has a special interest in treating the complex symptoms surrounding the diagnosis of EDS (hypermobility syndrome) and Chiari malformation.  His treatment philosophy, “Reset. Retrain. Restore.”, is implemented into his patient’s plan of care to create an optimal environment of healing. Through his hands-on technique and treatment, which include additional trainings and certifications, the pain cycle is “Reset”.  Utilizing patient education and a personalized therapeutic exercise program the patient is empowered to “Retrain” muscles, posture, stabilization, and proper movement patterns.  This helps the patient to avoid rebounding, or reoccurring symptoms, which “Restore” prior levels of activity and function.

Matt lives in Lehi with his wife and four children.  He loves speaking Spanish, being active as a family, hiking, biking, swimming, camping, archery and hunting.  He also enjoys educating students, patients and others about the principles of physical therapy and how they promote a healthy lifestyle.

Dan Lillywhite, DPT

Biography:

Dan Lillywhite received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Utah. Dan is certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling, Astym treatment, and Kinesio-taping. He enjoys working on the spine as well as extremities for both post-op and overuse injuries. He has an excellent background in many aspects of rehabilitation such as endurance training and neuro-rehabilitation. He has experience working with patients of all ages and enjoys helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. Dan enjoys being outdoors and participating in various activities including biking and running. He is fluent in Spanish and enjoys speaking his second language. He resides in Lindon, UT with his wife, Kate, and their 4 children. Dan has worked for Bushnell Physical Therapy for many years and has built a great reputation in the field of Physical Therapy.

Casey Saunders, DPT

Biography:

Casey Saunders grew up in Pleasant Grove, Utah and attended Utah Valley University while participating in UVU track and field. He went on to receive his bachelors from Utah State University in Human Movement Science before receiving his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah. Casey loves to be outside and loves to adventure. He has a passion for many things, but loves to spend his time fishing, mountain biking and spending time with family. He enjoys helping athletes and individuals return to optimal wellness and function. He has been with Bushnell Physical Therapy for over a year and looks forward to helping those in his care with utmost physical and emotional care.

Justin Brown, DPT

Biography:

Justin Brown grew up in Orem, UT.  He attended Utah Valley University and received a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science.  He then attended the University of Utah where he graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy.  Justin enjoys playing volleyball and being outdoors.  As the newest addition to the practice, Justin brings a fresh perspective to the team.  Justin enjoys working with people and helping them to regain their physical health.
