At Bushnell Physical Therapy, we don’t believe in cookie cutter care. Each patient receives a customized plan tailored to their body, their goals, and their lifestyle. You’ll work one on one with a licensed physical therapist during every visit with additional care from our support staff. That means more attention and better communication.

Experienced Therapists Who Truly Care

Our therapists aren’t just highly trained professionals, they’re compassionate listeners and problem solvers. We take the time to understand the ‘why’ behind your pain or injury, and we partner with you to restore not just your physical function, but your confidence too.

Evidence-Based Treatments with Real Results

We stay up to date on the latest research and therapy techniques to ensure you’re getting the most effective treatment available. From manual therapy and dry needling to neuromuscular re-education and sport specific rehab, Bushnell Physical Therapy blends cutting edge science with tried and true methods that work.

Located conveniently in Provo and Orem, our welcoming clinics are designed to make you feel at ease from the moment you walk in. We offer flexible scheduling and a friendly, supportive environment that feels more like a wellness space than a medical office.

Reduce Joint Stiffness

Many patients experience an immediate reduction in pain following treatment. While some temporary soreness may occur after needling, it is typically followed by a noticeable decrease in pain and stiffness—sometimes even after the very first session.

Long-Term Wellness

We don’t just help you recover, we teach you how to stay healthy and avoid reinjury. Our therapists provide education, posture correction, and exercise strategies that help you build a strong foundation for lifelong wellness.

Whether your goal is to return to sport, pick up your grandkids, or simply enjoy a walk without pain, we’re here to guide you toward lasting improvement, not just a temporary fix.

Reset, Retrain, Restore

Our motto focuses on addressing the cause of pain at the root of your injury to manage pain and other impairments, utilizing exercises to improve proper posture and build strength, and return to a healthy lifestyle. Every treatment we do at Bushnell PT is focused on these goals to help you return to the things and activities you love.

                FAQs

Find answers to your most pressing questions about our physical therapy services.

What should I expect during my first visit?
During your first session, the therapist will assess your medical history, current symptoms, range of motion, strength, and posture. Based on this evaluation, they’ll develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs and goals.
How long does physical therapy usually take to show results?
Results can vary based on the condition being treated, its severity, and how consistently the treatment plan is followed. Some people notice improvement after a few sessions, while others may require several weeks or months of therapy.
What types of treatments do physical therapists use?
Physical therapists use a variety of techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, stretching, joint mobilization, dry needling, electrical stimulation, and education on posture and movement. The specific treatments depend on your individual condition and goals.
                Will physical therapy be painful?
Some discomfort is possible, especially when working through an injury or post-surgical recovery, but physical therapy should not be excessively painful. Therapists aim to challenge your body in a safe and controlled way, and they adjust treatments to your tolerance level.
